These page is formed as part of the overall T&C’s

All purchases made through AP Furniture Co. that require delivery will be carried out during normal business hours. If you make multiple purchases on our website at the same time, it is possible that your furniture or homeware products could be delivered in multiple shipments. The reason for this is some of the products may come from different warehousing facilities or be shipped from different carriers depending on the product purchased. The reason we use alternative carriers is to provide a competitive price on shipping, depending on the products purchased we would determine the carrier by the weight and size of the shipment.  

Each purchase made is an individual transaction under our delivery terms and may require additional delivery charges depending on your location. For purchases outside of metro areas please use your post code in the delivery information section on our website to confirm your delivery fees.

Products purchased on AP Furniture Co. website are for delivery within Australia only. We can organise delivery to New Zealand and other International countries on a quotation basis.

As the purchaser you are responsible to ensure you have provided the correct delivery address at the time of checkout and the access to your delivery location are correct and meet our delivery terms.

Upon delivery the risk in the products passes to you on commencement of delivery. AP Furniture Co. do not accept liability for any loss, theft or damage to the products after delivery.

AP Furniture Co. shall endeavour to use all reasonable resources at their our discretion to meet the estimated delivery date within a reasonable time, by purchasing our products or making a down payment on a pre-order or custom order you agree that AP Furniture Co is not and will not be liable for any loss or damage however it arises if the products are not delivered by the estimated delivery date.

AP Furniture Co. will only deliver to persons of 18 years or older who are able to accept the delivery of your purchased products at the registered address at checkout. If no one is present at the time of delivery the carrier will leave a card where you will be responsible to organise and collect your products. (this only applies on some products as larger products will be scheduled deliveries). If the customer authorises AP Furniture Co via email/letter to leave products in a safe secure location at delivery site then we shall do so and delivery drivers will take a photo at site address. This is considered signature on delivery and a signature will not required.

Delivery Information

Delivery Process:

Once your order is placed and it is in stock it will leave our warehouse/s in 24 – 72 hours, depending on the product/s and location we will determine the best freight option for you, if you have provided any additional information regarding access to your delivery location will assist us in ensuring you provide the correct service.

Once your delivery is on its way you will receive an email notification.

Information that will assist in ensuring your delivery complies with our rates could include but not limited too. apartments, stairs, gates, narrow access, long or steep driveway, no through roads, no truck access, no parking)

In consideration of our customers we will group orders containing multiple items to ensure a streamline delivery process can occur and saving you time on requiring multiple deliveries. In the event one or several of your products purchased are on pre-order and you would like to have some or part of your available order shipped immediately please contact us at and we can discuss your options with you personally.

Delivery Times:

We endeavour to dispatch all product purchases from our warehouse within 24 – 72 hours from the time the order is placed. If you have purchased an item that is not in stock and was a pre-order, please refer to pre-order terms page. If you purchased a custom order, please refer to our custom order page for terms around your order.  

Occasionally we may experience delays in delivery times that are outside of our usual delivery parameter, these circumstances are often out of our control, we will endeavour to work as hard as we can to see that your delivery arrives as quickly as possible. In the event there are delays we will communicate with you on updates on your delivery.

As some of your products could be delivered with multiple freight carriers the exact days could vary depending on scheduling of these deliveries, we will endeavour to have your products delivered on the same day where possible.

We can provide additional delivery requests such as express shipping on several of our products, this service is an addition to any charges already applied to your product purchase. We unfortunately cannot cater to specific delivery times or days.

What Carriers do you use?

AP Furniture Co. use a range of different providers, depending on weight and size.

For chairs and other small items these are shipped via road express, delivery is usually with 1 – 3 days of it being dispatched. Delivery can be tracked, and you are emailed notifications of your order.

For large and bulky items such as tables or sofas are delivered using one – two people delivery teams. This service is like that of a removal company who will place the product in the chosen room.

We do not deliver to PO Boxes.

Click and Collect:

Please allow additional time for us to prepare your order for collection.

Please ensure you have adequate transport that complies to National and State road transport laws, AP Furniture Co. will not take liability for any penalties or prosecutions that arise from failure to comply to your local road traffic act.

All collections will need to have adequate assistance to lift their products into their vehicles, we cannot assist you in loading your vehicles please ensure you have enough people to carry and secure your products.

Upon collection the risk in the products passes to you on commencement of your collection.

AP Furniture Co. will not be held liable for any damage that occurs during or after the products have been loaded and left our premises.

Do I need to be home to receive delivery?

We can leave your products in a location on your premises that you choose that meets our delivery terms, upon delivery a photo is taken proving delivery and the risk in the products passes to you on completion of that delivery. AP Furniture Co. do not accept liability for any loss, theft or damage to the products after delivery.

Furniture deliveries normally need a signature of the receiver as proof of delivery. Please Contact AP Furniture Co. if you would like to provide an Authority to Leave form for the courier.

I have a lift or stairs to my apartment/home:

Our delivery terms indicate what is allowed, lifts and stairs will generally incur an additional fee. Couriers and other delivery services are not Authorised to enter your home. Depending on the carrier they may be able to assist placing the items in your front door area.

The free delivery offer is subject to front door drops only and one-time attempts.

Please ensure you have correctly measured the products on the description page to ensure they will fit through your gate/front door/lift etc.

We do not unpack any furniture if the access is too tight, this will be your responsibility.

Whats the difference in dispatch vs. delivery

Dispatch is when it leaves our warehouse and delivery is when its with our carriers and on its way.
We ship all stocked products within 24 – 72 hours.

Delivery can be between 2 – 14 days for some items.

Pre-orders and custom orders can vary so please view the pre-order and custom order page.

What’s included in my free delivery:

If you are eligible to receive free shipping on your order you are within our metro delivery area, to be eligible for this free furniture delivery you would be in one of these capital cities, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.

Your free shipping includes delivery to your metro address, a one man delivery who drops the products to your door, depending on the quantity or size you may be required to assist the driver with the delivery.

The free delivery service is subject to our delivery terms and conditions and could vary if the driver is unable to easily access our property.

What’s in Flat Rate Delivery:

Our flat rate furniture delivery service has been created to provide certainty on your total costs of the delivery, this service is used on several of our products where the free delivery service does not apply. If you are deemed to be outside of our metro delivery service, you can use our flat rate.

This delivery applies to people living in outer metro and regional areas of Sydney NSW, Melbourne VIC, Brisbane QLD, Adelaide SA, Perth WA.
